They went to Kingston, NH where he received 81 acres of land by the will of his father Samuel-3, who died the same year that Theophilus was married. His name appears upon the petition to separate the East Parish from Kingston in 1738. Also upon the petition for a grant of land "between Winnepesekke and Pemmissiwassett River" in 1738. His wife Sarah was appointed administratix of his will on Jan 3 1753 and his estate was divided on Feb 7, 1754.
